By using Google Gears with the Firefox Greasemonkey plugin, you can inject Gears code into any website that you want. Don't wait for your favorite website to enable offline support. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with this but it's good info to keep around. ;)

Jungle Disk is an application that lets you store files and backup data securely to Amazon.com's S3 ™ Storage Service. It looks cool and using S3 is a great place to keep your important data backed up offsite.
